Rock City is certified through the Boy Scouts of America to issue both indoor and outdoor climbing merit badges.
**First Aid Training is available for Scouts at a 10% reduced cost for groups of 5 or more and 20% for groups of 10 or more. Call Randall at Rock City for prices and scheduling.**

Indoor Climbing Merit Badge
This program is conducted entirely at Rock City in three, two-hour sessions. Scouts will learn climbing classifications, safety, emergency response, climbing commands, signals and equipment, anchors/protection, knots, belaying, climbing technique, and rappelling.
Fee: $75 per scout. Group discounts are available.
Outdoor Climbing Merit Badge
This program consists of two two-hour sessions at followed by a full day of outdoor climbing at a popular SoCal climbing area. The topics covered are identical to the indoor program but offers a beautiful outdoor climbing experience on real rock.
Fee: $120 per scout. Group discounts are available.
Group Events/Parties
Bring your scouts to Rock City indoor climbing gym for a safe and fun group party. Parties include two hours of climbing, use of the party room, belay instruction to adults and scouts 14 years and older, and rental equipment. Rock City staff will work with any ideas that you may have for adding to the event. All scouts must have a release signed by a parent or guardian before they may climb.
Fee: $15 per scout. $100 minimum. After hours parties are available for $75 extra. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date.
Rock City High Ropes Courses
Our ropes course is the newest edition to Rock City. It is located at Canyon RV park in Featherly. Experience the 200+ foot zip-line, rock climbing wall, Burma bridge, cargo net traverse, cat walk, firecracker walk, 2 and 3 rope bridges and the many other 'elements' elevated 50 feet off the deck!
